10. The Mayflower Pub

A great way to start off our Top Ten London pubs is none other than the Mayflower, the oldest pub located along the River Thames. A traditional English pub, surrounded by cobblestone streets and serving delicious British food alongside craft beer and ale, the Mayflower is a local favorite (for obvious reasons). You can even see the mooring point for the actual Mayflower from the restaurant! Isn’t history neat? Open Mon – Fri 11 AM – 11 PM, Sat 11 AM – 10:30 PM, and Sun 12 – 4 PM.  

9. Nightjar

A speak-easy style, subterranean bar, Nightjar offers some unique nightlife experiences for the adventurous traveler. Get your Sherlock Holmes on and drink some local gin, who knows maybe you should get an eyeglass and a pipe to really make it happen. 7. Doodle Bar

Before you scroll past this Top 10 London club thinking “It can’t really be about doodling,” you’re wrong! It is about doodling. This fantastic bar literally has a giant wall for its patrons to doodle on as they drink. Welcome to the future, travelers. Okay, okay, you got us. KOKO used to be known as the Camden Palace, but has since been transformed into a super awesome multi-purpose extravaganza of a venue. Hosting everything from intimate comedy performances to international awards ceremonies, this place can do it all. Check out the artists visiting during your travels or check out their outrageous dance parties—no matter what, it’s going to be a sea of neon and freedom. They’ve got everything at this Top 10 London venue. Hours vary by event. 

5. Roundhouse

If you’re searching for a more artsy performance with some up-and-coming performers, check out the artist listing at The Roundhouse during your travels. Bringing in the youth of art for dancing, music, theater, film, and circus, any show you see is sure to be magnificent. Marketed as a Top 10 London music and creative center, this place emphasizes passion and talent, making for incredible performances. 4. O2 Academy – Brixon

This Top 10 London club is not messing around—bringing in big name artists like Cage the Elephant, Ne-Yo, and Dropkick Murphys, O2 Academy is the place to see all your favorite international artists.
